I bought an Astell & Kern AK70 media player this weekend. The AK70 runs an Android OS (though I'm not sure about which version) but its functionality is limited to music playback. I will not be replacing my iPhone as a music player, but I just wanted to try a different device as well.

The AK70 media player is not fully compatible with iTunes. Because of this, it does not synchronize music with iTunes when it is connected to Mac. In order to copy music from Mac to the AK70, you need to install Android File Transfer.

Once the Android File Transfer is installed, you can drag and drop music files onto the AK70. In order to show album arts on AK70, album arts need to be saved at each album folder as cover.jpg or folder.jpg. Since I did not want to download album arts manually, I downloaded Save Album Art to Album Folder. After downloading the album arts, you can rename album arts like this:

cd ~/Music/iTunes/iTunes Media/Music
find . -name "*.jpg" -execdir mv {} "cover.jpg" \;
Rename JPEG files to cover.jpg

Once all album arts are renamed, copy all music files to the AK70.

You may need to shutdown and start the AK70 before the AK70 shows album arts correctly.
